Comet Clobber

Grumpy comets are raining on Cloudhaven. Blast them into glitter, and use the glitter to charge a Wish Beam for the Mother Comet.

Move with ← → (or A/D), the mouse, or drag a finger anywhere on the game; your saucer fires by itself. Big comets split in two (a comet broken low down just crumbles). Some comets drop a gun pickup: Prism spread (three shots), Twinkle turbo (rapid fire), Starlance (shots pierce straight through) or Wisp sparks (they curl toward the nearest comet). Each lasts about ten seconds, with its timer bottom left, and no new gun drops while one is on. Gun shots eat the glitter, so comets they break drop none. Fly through the glitter they drop to fill the Wish Beam meter, then press ↑ (or tap the meter) to melt everything above you. Hits in a row build a multiplier. Every third stage the Mother Comet shows up; a glowing glob under her means she is about to spit a comet at you. Three hits and it's over.
