How to play

The hermit in the giant snow globe on top of Frostpeak gave it a shake, and the slope is buried again. Frost sprites are hopping around with the starlight shards. Snowball one and solve its problem, and the shard is yours to melt treasure out of the ice.

Click a path to walk there, or use the arrow keys. Click a frost sprite (or press Space near one) to throw a snowball. If it's too far away, your Glimling walks closer first. On a phone, tap a path to walk and tap a sprite to throw. A hit freezes the sprite and opens a number pad: type the answer and press Enter, or tap the keys and then Throw. A right answer drops a starlight shard and scores 10 on Bunny hill, 15 on Long run or 20 on Summit. Each right answer in a row adds 5 more (up to +15). A quick answer adds 5: within 3 seconds on Bunny hill, 5 on Long run or 8 on Summit. A wrong answer cracks the ice, the sprite runs off and your streak starts over. The third wrong answer since your last dig brings a gust that buries the last treasure you dug, along with its points. Only digging up a treasure resets the count. Walk up to a treasure and click it (or press Space) to melt it out: thin ice costs 3 shards, medium 5 and thick 8. They pay 40, 90 and 160 on Bunny hill, 50, 113 and 200 on Long run, and 60, 135 and 240 on Summit. Dig up all four and Old Knotwell shakes the globe, which pays 50 and brings a fresh slope with harder problems. The problems are sums, times tables and making change from a pile of Glimmer coins. A run lasts two minutes.

Pays bronze 150 Glimmers, silver 300 Glimmers, gold 500 Glimmers, up to 100 Glimmers with no medal, +100 Glimmers for a new best. 1 energy a prize run.
